LHH is seeking a FRONT OFFICE ASSISTANT (SHEQ) for a contract-to-hire position in Webster, TX.
Position: FRONT OFFICE ASSISTANT (SHEQ)
Type: contract-to-hire
Location: 100% ONSITE (77058 zip code)
Pay Range: $23-25/hr DOE
Work Schedule: M-F, flex 7:30 am-5:30 pm
SUMMARY:
We are seeking a SHEQ/Front Office Assistant to join our team. This role involves a combination of general administrative duties and SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality) support. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.
GENERAL ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES:
Taking meeting minutes and making office announcements
Coordinating travel reservations and event planning
Assisting with occasional accounting projects as needed
Supporting the Managing Director with scheduling and planning
Assisting in the development of drills and evacuation plans
Ordering and managing office supply and merchandise inventory
SHEQ ASSISTANT DUTIES:
Supporting the implementation of SHEQ system developments
Assisting in the development of procedures and instructions
Supporting external and internal audits
Assisting with internal training
Acting as the local contact for all administration or SHEQ-related inquiries
SKILLS NEEDED:
Strong organizational and time management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat (PDF editing)
Willingness and ability to learn multiple systems and processes
EXPERIENCE:
Familiarity with ISO management systems is a plus
Experience with various portals and/or website navigation
