LHH Recruitment Solutions is excited to announce an opportunity for a skilled and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to join our client's team. This remote position offers the chance to work from anywhere while supporting procurement operations for a dynamic and growing company. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in procurement for large-scale facilities and be proficient in Excel, particularly in creating detailed reports and graphs.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement Coordination: Manage the procurement of goods and services for large-scale facilities, ensuring efficient and timely acquisition.
Supplier Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to secure optimal pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
Inventory Monitoring: Oversee inventory levels to prevent shortages and surpluses, working closely with relevant teams to maintain balance.
Data Analysis: Utilize Excel for in-depth data analysis, generating comprehensive reports and graphs to inform procurement strategies.
Budget Oversight: Contribute to the development and monitoring of the procurement budget, seeking cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities adhere to company policies, industry standards, and legal requirements.
Process Improvement: Continuously seek opportunities to enhance procurement processes, incorporating best practices and innovative solutions.
Qualifications
Experience: At least 2 years of experience in procurement for large-scale facilities.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with expertise in advanced functions for data analysis, report generation, and graph creation.
Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to negotiate effectively and foster positive supplier relationships.
Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail in all procurement and reporting tasks.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of making informed, data-driven decisions.
