Contract/Temp to Hire
$17.00 - $19.00 per Hour
- Answer incoming calls from customers to take orders, answer inquiries, and provide information about products and services.
- Make outbound calls to follow up with customers, confirm appointments, and conduct surveys.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Escalate complex issues to the appropriate department or supervisor when necessary.
- Provide accurate, valid, and complete information by using the right methods and tools.
- Document all call information according to standard operating procedures.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints.
- Generate reports on call center activities and customer feedback.
- Upsell products and services when appropriate, based on customer needs and preferences.
- Inform customers about new products, services, promotions, and policies.
- Work closely with team members to meet or exceed call center performance goals.
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on products, services, and customer service techniques.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a call center or customer service role preferred.
- Experience with customer service software and databases is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong listening skills and ability to empathize with customers.
- Proficiency in using computers and navigating various software applications.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle stressful situations calmly.
- Team player with a willingness to learn and adapt.
