Job Description


LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced and motivated Buyer to join our client's team in Cincinnati, Ohio. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a buyer for large-scale facilities and demonstrate proficiency in Excel, particularly in creating reports and graphs. This role is essential in ensuring that our client's procurement processes are efficient, cost-effective, and aligned with their company's goals.

Key Responsibilities



  • Procurement Management: Handle the purchasing of goods and services for large-scale facilities, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement.


  • Vendor Relations: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure the best pricing, quality, and delivery of products.


  • Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels to avoid shortages and overstock situations, coordinating with relevant departments to maintain optimal stock levels.


  • Data Analysis: Use Excel to analyze procurement data, generate reports, and create graphs that provide insights into purchasing patterns, costs, and efficiency.


  • Budget Management: Assist in the development and management of the procurement budget, identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.


  • Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, industry standards, and legal requirements.


  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively seek out and implement improvements to procurement processes, leveraging best practices and new technologies.

Qualifications



  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a buyer for large-scale facilities.


  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions for data analysis, reporting, and graph creation.


  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.


  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to negotiate effectively and build positive relationships with vendors.


  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of procurement and reporting.


  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
