LHH is looking to fill a Direct Hire Staff Accountant Job in Chula Vista, CA for one of our clients. If you have at least 3 years of accounting experience and are comfortable with high-volume reconciliations within the manufacturing industry, this role is for you! The Client really needs someone strong with multi-entity accounting as well as managing data within MS Excel. This position reports directly to the Controller and offers full benefits, PTO, 401k plus company match and bonus potential!
Responsibilities for this Staff Accountant job opportunity:
- Record and process all financial activity, including profit and loss reports
- Managed all vendor relations and inventory payments
- Prepare and manage operating budget and related forecast
- Perform monthly and quarterly account reconciliations
- Assist with bank reconciliations and AR as needed
Qualified Candidate Requirements:
- Proficiency with SAP or comparable ERP system
- Strength in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- Minimum of three years of accounting experience (manufacturing industry is a plus)
- Strong attention to detail
