Trade Operations Analyst
Global Collateral Operations & Exchange Traded Derivatives Operations (GCO & ETD Ops) are pivotal in mitigating counterparty credit risk through collateral exchange and providing comprehensive support for post-execution trade clearing and product lifecycle management. We manage operations for various Global Market products and businesses such as:
Futures and Options & OTC Cleared (F&O)
Prime Brokerage (PB)
Global Wealth & Investment Management (GWIM)
OTC Bi-lateral Derivatives (OTC)
ETD Operations Responsibilities:
Execution, clearing, and allocation of trades and position transfers, ensuring the highest quality standards
Management of Futures and Options position life cycles, including Corporate Action and Credit Event processing, Open Interest reporting, Exercise, Assignment, and Deliveries
Conducting daily reconciliations and exception resolution to maintain sub-ledger integrity for Listed and OTC Futures and Options products
Non-Financial Regulatory Reporting to Futures Exchanges and Regulators
Ensuring compliance with regulatory and industry mandates across 15 Legal Entities
Producing reports and information to meet regulatory requirements and internal control policies
Researching and resolving business line issues
Day-to-day analysis, research, and problem resolution
Role Description:
Produce high-quality program reporting for the Managing Director, including capturing and maintaining projects in the Bank of America program management tool and presenting program status in existing governance routines
Collaborate with BAU teams to identify and agree on user requirements for strategic Cleared Derivatives architecture solutions
Assess the impact of Regulatory changes and design strategic solutions for implementation
Track UAT status for funded projects, including schedules, resourcing, environments, scripts, and results reporting
Provide ad hoc support across the Change book of work
Core Skills:
Experience in managing change initiatives with strategic deliverables
Confident communicator capable of conveying complex messages to a wide audience and adept at negotiating and navigating all organizational levels
Credibility in ETD with experience in Exchange Traded Derivatives Execution or Clearing Operations, or previous involvement in supporting BAU processes
Familiarity with using an Exchange Traded Derivatives clearing platform is beneficial but not essential
Ability to drive processes forward independently while seeking guidance when necessary
Intellectual curiosity and a strong understanding of process drivers
