Sr. Digital Marketing Manager

Hybrid – Chicago/Wrigleyville (3 days in office)

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnered with a small, privately owned, that is up and coming who are looking to hire a Sr. Digital Marketing Manager who is savvy in driving and leading digital marketing strategy but who also has hands-on keyboard experience to deliver tactical execution across digital channels. Additionally, we’re looking for someone strong in storytelling and brand building.

If you’re for a former collegiate athlete or experienced in sports marketing, with a profile that includes:

· Around 8 years of digital marketing experience

· Supervision/Management and mentoring of marketing staff (2 or more)

· Proficient in maximizing organic social campaign efforts with some paid social know-how

· Experience in working with, managing, and selecting advertising agency partners

· Skilled in lead generation

· Demonstrated experience in enhancing and maximizing brand visibility and exposure

· Decision maker, brand builder and catalyst for growth

· Analytics driven to influence campaign planning and enhancement

· Exp in a start-up org or establishing a first-ever in-house marketing team is a BIG plus!

· Background in SEO, CRM and lifecycle marketing is also a plus.

This is an opportunity to build and establish the in-house marketing presence and will be highly involved in key decision making. It’s a launchpad opportunity where you’ll own initiatives that shapes how the company is seen, and over time, define and evolve your role within the company.

What You’ll Do:

· Campaign Ownership & Execution

- Lead strategy/execution/optimization of integrated marketing campaigns across social, email, digital, and on-the-ground channels

- Align campaigns to business goals, brand storytelling, and product launches.

- Track KPIs and pivot when needed to maximize impact

· Social Media & Brand

- Own the social media calendar, content pillars, and community engagement

- Partner with creators, athletes, and designers to amplify content and elevate storytelling

- Use data insights to growth reach, deepen loyalty, and refine brand narrative

- Identify potential influencer partners

· Team Leadership

- Build and lead a scrappy, creative team that thrives on collaboration, fast iteration, and big ideas

- Provide mentorship, structure, and direction while creating a culture of accountability and innovation

· Sports Brand Strategy

- Leverage NIL and/or sports marketing experience to connect with athletes, parents, and fans

- Collaborate with athlete partners and youth communities to create campaigns that drive engagement, signups, and sales

- Drive alignment with the company mission: helping athletes build the brand, legacy, and story

· Creative & Agency Management

- Manage relationships with freelancers and agencies – content creators, ad strategists, videographers, etc.

- Ensure creative output reflects brand tone, mission, and strategic vision.

- Negotiate contracts and evaluate performance



Pay Details: $65,000.00 to $115,000.00 per year
