LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Compensation Analyst to join a prominent organization in Chicago. This role is crucial in developing, analyzing, and managing compensation programs that align with the organization's goals for attracting, retaining, and engaging employees. The successful candidate will conduct in-depth research and analysis to ensure fairness, market competitiveness, and legal compliance.


Primary Duties:



  • Develop and communicate salary structures, pay grades, and compensation budgets.


  • Provide guidance to managers on making informed pay decisions that enhance employee engagement and adhere to compensation policies and budget guidelines.


  • Assess job roles and maintain job descriptions and job architecture.


  • Participate in compensation surveys and analyze market competitiveness, pay equity, and compensation trends.


  • Lead special projects, create senior-level presentations, and manage communications for senior leadership.


  • Conduct job evaluations to determine appropriate FLSA classification and salary levels.


  • Collaborate with HR leaders to address departmental requests, offering solutions that ensure consistency across all entities.


  • Perform market studies as needed, proposing cost-effective solutions to management.


  • Manage compensation data and maintain survey portfolios.


  • Assist in the annual performance evaluation and merit increase process.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.


  • At least 5 years of experience in compensation analysis or a related field.


  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.


  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.


  • Ability to handle multiple deadlines and assignments.


  • Experience with HRIS systems and managing compensation-related data.


  • Knowledge of federal and state compensation regulations.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation.


  • Experience in healthcare compensation.
