About the Role:
Are you an experienced paralegal looking for an exciting opportunity in Chicago? LHH is seeking talented paralegals for several prestigious law firms in the Chicago area. These are direct hire roles that offer competitive salaries ranging from $70,000 to $100,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases.
Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and correspondence.
Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions.
Maintain and organize case files and legal documents.
Communicate with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in cases.
Ensure compliance with legal procedures and regulations.
Qualifications:
Education: Paralegal certification or equivalent.
Experience: 3+ years of paralegal experience, with a strong emphasis on trial preparation and case management.
Skills: Proficient in legal research tools, MS Office Suite, and e-discovery platforms. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Attributes: Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently and as part of a team. Capable of handling sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion.
