Accounts Payable Specialist

LHH Solutions is a leading HR Solutions firm based in Chicago, Illinois and currently seeking to hire an Accounts Payable Specialist in Chicago, Illinois. We are looking for a detail-oriented and efficient Accounts Payable Clerk with at least 3 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and processing accounts payable transactions with accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  

  Process and verify invoices and purchase orders

• 
  

  Enter and update data in accounting software accurately

• 
  

  Reconcile vendor statements and address discrepancies

• 
  

  Maintain detailed and organized accounts payable records

• 
  

  Assist in monthly and year-end financial close processes

• 
  

  Collaborate with various departments to resolve payment issues

Qualifications:

• 
  

  Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role

• 
  

  High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in accounting or related field preferred

• 
  

  Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite

• 
  

  Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• 
  

  Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively

Additional Duties:

• 
  

  Assist with special projects and other tasks as required
