Accounts Payable Specialist

$24.00 - $26.00 per Hour
- Review and verify invoices and check requests.
- Sort, code, and match invoices.
- Set invoices up for payment.
- Enter and upload invoices into the system.
- Track expenses and process expense reports.
- Prepare and perform check runs.
- Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
- Resolve invoice discrepancies and issues.
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions.
- Maintain vendor files.
- Produce monthly reports.
- Assist with month-end closing.
- Provide supporting documentation for audits.
- Maintain accurate historical records.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Assist in maintaining financial controls.
- Support financial operations team with special projects as needed.
- Communicate with vendors and respond to inquiries.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- Minimum of 3 years of accounts payable experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- High volume invoice processing and 3-way matching experience is required.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
