We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist for our client in Chatsworth! The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for managing and processing all invoices received for payment. This role is crucial in maintaining the company’s financial health and ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes. Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and verify invoices and check requests.
  • Sort, code, and match invoices.
  • Set invoices up for payment.
  • Enter and upload invoices into the system.
  • Track expenses and process expense reports.
  • Prepare and perform check runs.
  • Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
  • Resolve invoice discrepancies and issues.
  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions.
  • Maintain vendor files.
  • Produce monthly reports.
  • Assist with month-end closing.
  • Provide supporting documentation for audits.
  • Maintain accurate historical records.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Assist in maintaining financial controls.
  • Support financial operations team with special projects as needed.
  • Communicate with vendors and respond to inquiries.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of accounts payable experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • High volume invoice processing and 3-way matching experience is required.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
