LHH is seeking a talented Human Resources Business Partner. The location offers a brand-new office offers for a collaborative environment with dedicated spaces for HR and legal teams. High value on diplomacy, relationship-building, and the ability to support managers effectively.
You will plan, lead, develop, and coordinate policies, and staff of the Human Resources department. You will ensure legal compliance and implement the organization’s mission and talent strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the full spectrum including talent acquisition, performance management, compensation and benefits, staff welfare, and training.
Handle recruitment activities to attract and staff the best talent possible; take ownership of the full cycle recruiting process.
Collaborate with department heads to maintain work structure by validating job requirements and descriptions for all positions.
Develop recruitment strategies to provide qualified applicants to fill position vacancies at all levels; stay abreast of hiring trends and employ sourcing strategies.
Analyze wage and salary reports and data to determine competitive compensation plans.
Roll out Performance Management Program with periodic performance reviews.
Facilitate the onboarding process for the new hire orientation; ensure the entire hiring process follows company guidelines and procedures.
Train managers to coach and discipline employees; counsel employees and supervisors.
Prepare, update, and recommend human resource policies and procedures; serve as a link between management and employees.
Introduce and manage the company’s training programs for staff development and maintain high employee morale.
Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements; consult legal counsel as needed.
Oversee all training programs including internal on-job trainings, external trainings, and certificate programs.
Perform ad hoc duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field required.
3-5 years of experience as an HR leader.
Experience in distribution preferred but not required.
Familiarity with ADP preferred but not required.
Ability to travel quarterly to different locations.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships and support managers diplomatically.
Experience in a small to mid-size company is preferred.
