Job Title: Billing Specialist (High-Volume, Complex Billing)
Location: Chandler, Arizona
Position Type: Hybrid, two days remote after training
Schedule: Mon - Fri 8am - 5pm
Compensation: $60k - $70k DOE
Job Description: As a Billing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely billing processes. You will be responsible for managing high-volume billing operations, handling complex billing scenarios, and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations and company policies. This role requires a keen attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Manage the end-to-end billing process, including invoice preparation, review, and distribution.
Handle complex billing scenarios, such as multi-tiered pricing structures, volume discounts, and contract-based billing arrangements.
Analyze billing data to identify discrepancies, errors, and inconsistencies, and take corrective actions as needed.
Collaborate with internal teams, including Sales, Finance, and Customer Support, to resolve billing-related inquiries and discrepancies.
Maintain accurate billing records and documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Assist in the development and implementation of billing process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to billing and revenue management.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in billing, invoicing, or accounts receivable roles, with a focus on high-volume and complex billing processes.
Proficiency in billing software and ERP systems, such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify and resolve billing discrepancies effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a dynamic work environment.
