We are looking to fill a Senior Staff Accountant with a company based in Carrollton, TX. This position will be responsible for performing journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and assisting with the full month end close process. This company has a great family friendly environment and it’s known to be a fantastic place to work. This position will pay 75K-85K+bonus and offers a hybrid work schedule. Responsibilities:
Record and reconcile accounting transactions
Reconcile balance sheet accounts
Responsible for general ledger and month-end close
Responsible for providing ad-hoc analysis
Responsible for income statement, balance sheet, and assisting with variance analysis
Research, investigate and report issues and corrections related to the GL Transactions
Collaborate with the other teams within the company on projects
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
2-5 year experience within accounting
Knowledge of GAAP
Experience with deadline-oriented, multi-task environment
Excellent knowledge of Excel
Be able to work in a team environment
