About the Role
LHH is seeking a Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to support the Enterprise Business Systems team for a client in the biotechnology and medical device industry. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in ERP systems, data integrity, and process improvement within a regulated environment. The BSA will focus on SAP business processes, ensuring system accuracy, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with business leaders to optimize workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Work with business leaders to analyze, document, and enhance business processes
Modify and maintain SAP ERP configurations to ensure compliance with GMP, GDP, SOX, and ISO standards
Develop and maintain MIS reports and master data to support operational efficiency
Troubleshoot ERP-related system issues and escalate as needed
Act as a liaison between business users and IT to drive system enhancements
Provide end-user training and support to optimize system utilization
Participate in global change management initiatives related to SAP
Ensure data integrity and compliance with state and federal guidelines
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or a related field with 2 or more years of relevant experience, or
Associate’s degree with 5 or more years of relevant experience, or
High school diploma with 8 or more years of relevant experience in a regulated, medical device, or manufacturing environment
2 or more years of hands-on SAP or ERP system experience
Strong proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and database management
Familiarity with ETL tools and data integration platforms
Skills and Competencies
Strong knowledge of ERP systems, with SAP highly preferred
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Ability to quickly learn new systems and manage complex inventories
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and report documentation
Strong organizational and time management skills in a fast-paced environment
Effective communication and collaboration across teams and stakeholders
Work Environment
This role is based in a regulated biotech setting, with responsibilities performed in both office and laboratory environments. Candidates must be comfortable working in a dynamic, process-driven space with occasional exposure to hazardous chemicals and automated equipment.
