HR Generalist

$70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per Year


Our client is a global leader in solutions and services across the packaging lifecycle, providing packaging worldwide to companies in industries such as food, personal care, paints, and chemicals.


Responsibilities:



  • Provides day-to-day employee relations and performance counseling.


  • Ensures fair and consistent administration of all human resources policies and practices.


  • Addresses and resolves employee concerns or issues within the supported location(s).


  • Facilitates strong communication of employee programs to enhance engagement and morale.


  • Implements human resources and employee relations programs.


  • Partners with management to communicate various human resource policies, procedures, laws, standards, and regulations.


  • Manages payroll processing, time and attendance recording, paid time off benefits, and company compensation and benefits programs.


  • Delivers and coordinates training programs.


  • Maintains compliance with federal and state employment regulations and HR policies.


  • Conducts new hire orientation and other onboarding activities.


  • Maintains accurate HRIS records and prepares necessary reports.


  • Conducts recruitment activities including posting open positions, reviewing resumes, screening applicants, and coordinating interviews.


  • Participates in investigating employee-related issues and concerns.


  • Performs other assigned duties.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field.


  • Minimum of 3 years of HR Generalist experience in a manufacturing environment.


  • PHR/SPHR certification is a plus.


  • Demonstrated ability to exhibit leadership behaviors consistently and partner effectively with business leaders.


  • Knowledge of Federal and State laws pertaining to human resources administration.


  • Strong conflict resolution skills.


  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills.


  • Strong organizational, planning, and follow-up abilities.


  • Willingness and ability to travel as required.


  • Bilingual in Spanish.
