Human Resources Generalist (On-site in Berkeley)
Key Requirements:
Experience with workers' compensation
Handling employee terminations
Creating and delivering training programs
Proficiency in Paycom
Compensation and Benefits:
Salary: $70,000 - $75,000/year

Responsibilities:
Serve as the internal expert on credentialing and privileging, collaborating with HR, Operations, Compliance, and third-party credentialing vendor
Create and maintain paper and electronic credentialing files, ensuring compliance with best practices and regulations
Work with Recruiting Coordinators and HR Generalists to manage credentialing information for new hires and existing employees
Monitor recruitment status to ensure timely credentialing of candidates
Use ADP to keep accurate provider data for credentialing, re-credentialing, and appointment processes
Collect privileging forms from new hires and clinical leadership
Align HR and third-party onboarding processes, ensuring all documentation is collected
Generate and distribute ADP reports for internal and external partners
Maintain effective relationships with Operations, Billing, IT, Quality Improvement, Compliance, and other credentialing agencies
Collaborate with clinical leadership to validate information for patient-facing staff
Provide necessary documentation to clinician managers and committees
Address credentialing-related issues promptly, working with HR and third-party vendors for resolution
Escalate complex issues to appropriate personnel or departments
Provide termination notification documents to third-party credentialing vendor
Stay updated on HRSA, FTCA, and FQHC credentialing requirements
Assist in reviewing and developing credentialing policies and procedures
Complete HR special projects and backup duties as needed
Perform other assigned duties and projects
Qualifications:
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Strong customer service orientation
Organizational, administrative, multi-tasking, prioritization, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work under pressure, adapt to change, and handle sensitive issues professionally
Present information effectively to employees, community partners, and vendors
Work independently with minimal supervision, using professional judgment and diplomacy
Team-oriented with the ability to support professionals with diverse work styles
Conduct oneself positively, reflecting well on the organization
Understand how work intersects with other departments and partner organizations
Commitment to providing primary care services to underserved populations
Sensitivity in working with diverse, low-income populations
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Minimum 3 years of credentialing experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong customer service skills and approach to problem-solving
High attention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills
Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) designation preferred
Experience with diverse employee populations and multi-location organizations
Community Health or Non-profit experience is a plus
