LHH is seeking a skilled Family Law Paralegal with at least 3 years of experience to support one attorney in a fast-paced legal environment. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, confident, and comfortable managing legal tasks independently, with experience in Washington State and Federal family law cases.
Job Title: Family Law Paralegal Location: Bellevue, WA -Hybrid Duration: Full-time
Start Date: 1/2/2025
Bonus: Merit-based, ranging from $2,000-$7,000 annually
Salary: $85,000-$105,000
Flexible schedule: 8:30 am – 5:00 pm
Billable hours requirement: 1,200/year
Key Responsibilities:
Support attorney with family law cases, including trial preparation (1-2 trials/year)
Perform billable legal assistant work (no non-billable tasks)
Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, explaining legal processes, timelines, and responding to inquiries.
Help clients gather necessary documents and complete forms.
Maintain clear and regular communication with clients throughout the case.
Organize exhibits and evidence for hearings, mediations, and trials.
Assist attorneys in preparing for hearings and court appearances by gathering necessary information and documents.
Attend court sessions with attorneys as needed to support case proceedings.
Utilize NetDocs and TABS3 (preferred but not required)
Manage client files and case documentation
Requirements:
3+ years of Family Law experience
Knowledge of WA State and Federal family law procedures
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
