Location: Baltimore, MD (Hybrid)

Pay Rate: $35-$45 per hour

Start Date: ASAP

Position Overview: As an HR Consultant, you will play a crucial role in providing expert HR guidance and support to our organization. This hybrid role offers the flexibility to work both remotely and on-site as needed. You will be responsible for a wide range of HR activities, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.

  • Employee Relations: Provide guidance and support to employees and management on HR-related issues, including conflict resolution, performance improvement, and employee engagement.

  • Performance Management: Develop and implement performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and employee development plans.

  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR best practices and legal requirements.

  • HR Policies and Procedures: Review and update HR policies and procedures to ensure they align with organizational goals and legal requirements.

  • Training and Development: Identify training needs and coordinate employee development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.

  • HR Administration: Manage HR records, prepare reports, and handle other administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an HR Consultant or in a similar HR role.

  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

Pay Details: $35.00 to $45.00 per hour
