Real Estate Legal Assistant

This position will play a vital role in supporting attorneys with a variety of commercial real estate and corporate transactions. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled legal assistant with a strong understanding of these practice areas to gain valuable experience at a prestigious firm.
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive administrative and legal support to a team of attorneys specializing in commercial real estate and corporate transactions.
Draft and prepare legal documents related to commercial real estate transactions, such as purchase and sale agreements, leases, and financing documents.
Assist attorneys with corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and entity formation.
Conduct legal research on relevant case law, statutes, and regulations related to commercial real estate and corporate law.
Manage and maintain client files electronically and in hard copy, ensuring all documents are readily accessible and organized.
Prepare and manage attorney timekeeping, billing, and expense reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to firm policies.
Coordinate communication with clients, opposing counsel, and other professionals involved in transactions.
Perform other legal and administrative tasks as assigned.
Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all work performed.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience as a legal assistant in a commercial real estate and/or corporate law setting.
Strong understanding of commercial real estate law and corporate law principles.
Experience drafting/preparing legal documents for commercial real estate transactions and corporate transactions.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Experience with legal research databases a plus.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and client service skills.
Ability to work independently and take initiative, while also collaborating effectively with attorneys and other team members.
Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
