Location: Hybrid (Onsite the first month, then 2-3 days in-office after ramp-up)
Salary:
Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Job Type: Full-time, Temporary (3-6 months max)
Key Responsibilities:
- Month-End Close & Financial Reporting:
- Ensure the timely execution of month-end, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
- Prepare and deliver all month-end financial reporting.
- Review foreign subsidiaries’ month-end financial reports.
- Assist with financial reporting for the parent company, working closely with the Controller and VP of Finance.
- Accounting Operations & Reconciliations:
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations, prepare journal entries (JEs), and account reconciliations.
- Handle intercompany transactions and ensure accurate accounting across multiple entities.
- Manage Fixed Assets Accounting and ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
- Audit & Tax Assistance:
- Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring compliance and timely documentation.
- Support the VP of Tax with tax-related requests, including preparation of government forms.
- Systems & Reporting:
- Utilize Microsoft GP for daily accounting tasks (advanced proficiency required); experience with Oracle, JDE, or SAP is a plus.
- Use Excel to create pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and other financial models (no macros required).
- Team Collaboration & Communication:
- Collaborate with the finance team, including Controller and VP of Finance, to ensure smooth reporting and financial processes.
- Maintain a proactive approach to problem-solving and meeting deadlines.
- Display strong interpersonal communication skills, fostering positive working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Participate in team activities, including lunch breaks and team events, to promote a collaborative atmosphere.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Experience with foreign subsidiaries and cross-border accounting (Proficient in Microsoft GP (required), with a strong understanding of Oracle, JDE, and SAP (preferred).
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs (no macros required).
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude.
- Ability to work onsite for the first month and then transition to a hybrid schedule (2-3 days in-office thereafter).
