Job Title: Social Media Content Creation Specialist
Pay Rate: $36hr to $39hr depending on experience level Contract Duration: 12 Months Location: Remote (Portfolio links demonstrating TikTok content required)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and creative Social Media Content Specialist to drive engaging TikTok content for a leading food and beverage brand. This role requires a blend of creativity and technical skill to produce captivating videos that resonate with Gen-Z and Millennials, especially within the sneaker and streetball communities.
Primary Responsibilities:
Social Listening: Monitor social media channels to identify trends and opportunities for engaging content that enhances brand relevance.
Develop and Pitch Creative Ideas: Create and present innovative concepts for TikTok content that align with brand strategy and goals.
End-to-End Content Creation: Design, produce, edit, and write copy for all TikTok content, ensuring it is engaging and on-brand.
Perform On-Camera: Act as on-camera talent when needed, bringing energy and creativity to each piece of content.
Analyze and Optimize Performance: Track performance metrics and refine strategies to increase engagement, reach, and follower growth.
Stay Trend-Savvy: Keep abreast of the latest TikTok trends and formats to maintain content relevance and appeal.
Collaboration: Work closely with the Community Manager and brand team to develop and execute social media strategies.
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required.
2+ years of experience in content creation and/or social media management for a brand or organization.
Strong skills in creating distinctive content that reflects brand strategy and voice.
Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva Pro, InShot, CapCut, and TikTok video editing.
Deep understanding of the social media landscape, particularly TikTok.
Ability to analyze data to extract insights for content creation.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects, work independently, and collaborate with various stakeholders.
Willingness to travel occasionally, initially to Arlington, VA for training and as needed thereafter.
Preferred Experience:
Experience with social listening and publishing tools.
Background working with large brands and partner agencies.
