LHH has partnered with a leading manufacturing/ distribution company in Arlington, TX, to hire a Senior Financial Analyst for a full time permanent hybrid role. This position is working in the office four days a week and one day from home. The salary is $90-100K depending on experience and there is a bonus.


We are seeking candidates with strong Excel skills, including advanced modeling experience and proficiency in stacked functions such as VLOOKUPs, XLOOKUPs, and SUMIF statements. A minimum of 2+ years of experience in FP&A functions is required and 13-week cash flow analysis is a plus, along with a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business.


Responsibilities:



  • Conduct financial analysis and modeling to identify trends and recommend improvements.


  • Analyze historical financial data to uncover growth opportunities.


  • Perform monthly variance analysis and support department heads with financial and operational reviews.


  • Review top customer and product category profitability.


  • Prepare and assist with 13-week cash flow and budget variance reports.


  • Automate and streamline KPI scorecards and reports.


  • Evaluate and report on customer marketing programs.


  • Assess capital expenditures and conduct ROI and post-audit analyses.


  • Prepare borrowing base certificates and support treasury functions as needed.


  • Conduct ad hoc analysis to transform data into actionable insights.


  • Recommend process and reporting enhancements in response to business changes.


  • Utilize Business Intelligence tools to automate reports and processes. Collaborate with IT and Finance Systems to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of daily and monthly reporting, including KPIs, scorecards, and key business tools.


  • Lead and participate in special projects aimed at advancing company objectives.


  • Identify business insights and opportunities for improvement in key areas such as Operations, Finance, Marketing, Sales, and Strategy.


  • Conduct M&A due diligence and manage post-transaction integration. Perform competitor benchmarking and analyze industry and product trends to identify strategic opportunities.


  • Focus on process optimization and profit-improvement initiatives across various business functions.


Qualifications:


Education: Undergraduate degree in Finance, Business or Accounting.


Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience in FP&A functions.


Industry: Experience in Manufacturing, distribution or similar industry.


Skills:



  • Strong analytical skills to provide insights and lead implementation teams.


  • Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.


  • Advanced Excel, database management, and modeling skills.


  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.


  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.


  • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities effectively.


  • Strategic thinker with the capability to translate strategies into financial plans.


  • Broad business acumen and problem-solving abilities.
