One of our clients is looking for an Operations Manager to drive the cabinet manufacturing operations of one of their largest production facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cabinet manufacturing and a proven track record of successful leadership. The Operations Manager will be responsible for managing all facets of the Operations team in a manner which creates and promotes a positive culture, and results in a high level of customer satisfaction while assuring company profitability. This position will also manage the following functions – safety, customer service, assembly, warehousing, delivery, installation, warranty/service, purchasing, quality, fleet management, and inventory control. This role is responsible for employee morale, hiring, termination, coaching and personnel development.
Responsibilities
Create a positive, disciplined culture that promotes outstanding customer service through excellent execution
Oversee all facets of Operations Management including customer service, scheduling, warehouse activities, inventory control, purchasing, product assembly, delivery, installation, and quality control
Responsible for personnel development of three direct reports and their respective teams
Responsible for managing the branch within operating budgets
Work closely with the sales and design team to address issues and concerns
Implement and oversee processes and controls to assure a very high level of execution
Maintain safe work environment that exceed OSHA standards
Thrive in a fast-paced work environment

Requirements
10+ years of experience encompassing experience as an Operations Manager and potentially Field Service Management within cabinet manufacturing
Bachelors Degree
Extensive knowledge of the residential construction industry, it’s major players in the Atlanta metro, and the trends there-in
Extensive knowledge of the cabinet manufacturing processes within specific subsectors of the industry
Proven experience working with various business systems including ERP systems
Deep knowledge of Inventory Control and Production Planning systems
Demonstrated success in applying lean manufacturing and CI opportunities throughout a manufacturing career
Detail oriented and competitive
Proven ability to develop positive relationships with employees at all levels of the organization as well as with customers
Proven experience with conflict resolution
