Accounting Clerk

$20.00 - $22.00 per Hour


LHH is looking for an experienced Accounting Clerk to join our client’s finance team. The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for various financial tasks, including but not limited to, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Process accounts payable transactions and ensure accurate and timely payments.


  • Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing and collections.


  • Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate general ledger entries.


  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.


  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any financial discrepancies.


  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.


  • Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation.


  • Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and best practices.


  • Perform check runs, payroll summarys, and internal reconciliations



Qualifications:



  • Proven experience as an Accounting Specialist or in a similar role.


  • MUST have Knowledge of Excel (creating formulas, Pivot Tables, VLookups)


  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.


  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.


  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.


  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.


  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
