Payroll Specialist

Contract to hire
$22.00 - $25.00 per Hour
- Entering employee hours, overtime, and PTO into the payroll system
- Calculating and deducting correct withholdings from paychecks
- Maintaining accurate payroll records
- Distributing paychecks or electronic funds
- Generating payroll reports for management and finance
- Updating the payroll system with changes in employee status
- Coordinating with other departments for accurate payroll information
- Assisting in regular audits
- Using payroll software and ERP
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is a plus)
- 1 to 2 years of payroll experience
- Data entry experience
- Familiarity with an ERP
