LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a growing company in Albuquerque, NM that is looking to add a Human Resources Assistant to the team! This is a full-time onsite Monday through Friday position. Pay range is $19.00-$21.00 per hour depending on prior experience.

Job Summary: The Human Resources Assistant will support the Human Resources Manager with a variety of human resources functions, including but not limited to onboarding, recruitment support, documentation retention, employee relations, timecard support, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Human Resources manager in compiling, and maintaining accurate employee records, including onboarding, employment status, corrective actions and terminations

  • Serve as the primary contact responsible for delivering the HR New Employee Orientation presentation

  • Coordinate and administer activities related to new hires, changes, and terminations, including scheduling onboarding sessions and ensuring accurate and complete personnel files

  • Assist with talent acquisition, including posting jobs, receiving applications, pre-screening candidates, and scheduling interviews

  • Maintain and update HR tools and systems, such as absence and presence management tools, and support users with questions and issues

  • Conduct regular reviews and audits of all HR documentation and processes to ensure information is accurate

  • Assist with improving processes and ensuring overall compliance

  • Produce reports on general HR activity and assist with preparing employee performance reviews

  • Address and resolve internal and external HR inquiries from employees

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in

  • Minimum of 1 year of recent previous experience in Human Resources is required

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR software is required

  • Familiarity with employment verifications including I-9 guidelines

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills

  • Ability to type 35+ words per minute
