$20.00 - $21.00 per Hour

LHH is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our clients finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts receivable management. Responsibilities:
  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks, including invoice processing and payment reconciliation.
  • Prepare and process journal entries.
  • Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documents.
  • Assist with monthly and year-end financial closings.
  • Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions.
  • Collaborate with other team members to resolve accounting discrepancies.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports and statements.
  • Perform general administrative tasks as needed to support the finance department.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in accounting or related field is a plus.
  • Previous experience as an accounting clerk or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) is a plus.
