About the Role:
Are you an experienced Conveyancer looking for your next challenge? Join our clients busy plot sales team in York, where you'll play a vital role in managing plot sales and part-exchange acquisitions. Your expertise will ensure that transactions are conducted smoothly and efficiently within the reservation period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle plot sales, part exchanges, and related purchases for designated Group Companies.
- Build strong relationships with purchasers' solicitors and our group legal department.
- Prepare estate documentation and send out contract documentation.
- Monitor the legal process to ensure timely exchanges.
- Manage the transfer or lease process with precision.
What They're Looking For:
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Excellent knowledge of residential conveyancing, practise, and procedure.
- Previous experience with plot sales for a residential house builder (in-house or private practice is a plus).
- Strong computer literacy and social skills.
- A confident telephone manner and the ability to work independently without secretarial support.
- A calm, organised approach with the capability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
