Our client, an innovative and ambitious technology group, is seeking a Legal Counsel to join their team and contribute to their continued success.
As a Legal Counsel, you will play a crucial role in providing transactional and strategic legal support to our client's organisation. You will be responsible for coordinating, negotiating, and advising on B2B commercial contracts, including master service agreements, partnership agreements, and reseller contracts. Additionally, you will support the legal function transformation by streamlining standard contracts and transactional materials, as well as supporting projects to develop the use of new tools.
Your expertise will be invaluable as you partner with various areas of the business to support transactions and resolve legal matters. You will also be responsible for coordinating and conducting dispute resolution matters, liaising with senior management, the legal department, and external legal advisors as necessary. In addition, you will have the opportunity to support with training to the business on key legal areas and risks, such as the Bribery Act, GDPR, Modern Slavery, and IT security.
To thrive in this role, you will be a :
- Qualified solicitor with 1-5 years PQE
- Prior experience in an in-house legal team or relevant private practise experience in a commercial contracts role
- Ability to manage multiple deliverables and tight deadlines will be critical, along with your comfort with change and driving improvement.
- Excellent stakeholder management and the ability to juggle competing demands will also be key to your success.
