Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Litigation Lawyer to join their legal team on a temporary basis on a 12 month contract. This role is designed to provide expert legal support and representation in litigation matters, ensuring the effective management of legal risks and disputes.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle and manage a diverse range of litigation cases, particularly those related to construction, property and commercial disputes.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, providing clear and practical legal advice to support business objectives.
- Conduct thorough legal research and prepare detailed legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Represent the organisation in court, arbitration, and mediation proceedings.
- Collaborate with other legal professionals, paralegals, and support staff to ensure efficient case management and optimal outcomes.
- Develop and implement effective litigation strategies aligned with the company's goals.
Requirements
- UK Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 7 years PQE in litigation, ideally specialising within commercial or construction matters.
- Demonstrable expertise in managing complex litigation cases.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent written and verbal communication abilities, and adeptness in negotiation and advocacy.
- Highly organised, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
