Are you an experienced Corporate Solicitor looking for an exciting new opportunity? Look no further. Our client, a leading legal organisation, is seeking a talented and motivated Corporate Solicitor to join their dynamic team in Leeds.


About the Role:


In this role, you will be part of a national corporate team that provides a wide range of legal services, specialising in corporate transactional work. Key responsibilities include:


Managing your own workload of corporate transactional support and company law advisory work for various clients

Assisting other lawyers in the team with their work, supporting lead advisers in transactional matters


Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating transactional and corporate documents


Developing and building your own case load of corporate/company law matters while supporting partners with larger projects


Advising clients on corporate governance and compliance matters


Playing an active role in business development activities


Attending client meetings and visiting clients' premises when required


About You:


To excel in this role, our client is looking for a Corporate Solicitor with the following qualifications and attributes:


2+ years of PQE in all aspects of private M&A transactions

High level of commercial awareness with strong attention to detail and good drafting skills


Conscientious, self-motivated, and hard-working


Excellent communication, organisation, and analytical skills


Ability to work independently as well as part of a team


Passionate about operational excellence and improving the client experience


Excellent time management and organisation skills


Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
