Description:
We are excited to partner with a well-established accountancy firm in Coventry, who are looking to expand their team. Our client is seeking an experienced Accounts Senior to join them. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring the accurate preparation of financial statements, and delivering valuable financial insights to support business decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all financial reporting and submissions.
- Preparing and submitting year-end accounts, Corporation Tax Computations, VAT Returns, and Confirmation Statements with precision and efficiency.
- Developing strong relationships with both new and existing clients, while managing client payroll on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis.
- Setting and managing client expectations by arranging closing meetings to finalise accounts.
- Mentoring and supporting junior team members, fostering a culture of growth, collaboration, and excellence.
- Applying your expertise in accounting software such as Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks to streamline processes and improve client experiences.
Requirements:
- ACA/ACCA qualification or working towards.
- Able to perform effectively under pressure.
- Skilled in Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks.
- Consistently meets deadlines.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
- Proficient problem-solving abilities and a strong attention to detail.
