Job Title: Power BI Developer
Remuneration: £35,000
Contract Details: Fixed Term Contract, 6 months
Our client, a leading global provider of security solutions to control people flows and protect valuables from burglary, fire, and explosion, is seeking an experienced Power BI Developer to join their team. This is a 6-month fixed term contract position, focusing on business intelligence development and report creation.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, design, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights for business units.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for BI solutions.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all reporting solutions.
- Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business improvement.
- Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Continuously improve and optimise existing BI solutions to enhance performance and usability.
What you need to have:
- Expert proficiency in Power BI and DAX, with a track record of developing complex reports and dashboards.
- Strong understanding of data modelling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality and accuracy.
- Proactive approach to learning new technologies and methodologies.
