LHH is partnered with a leading defence and manufacturing organisation as they seek Senior/Principal Electronics Engineer to play a key role in the research, design, and development of advanced optical systems.


As a Senior/Principal Electronics Engineer, you will begin at the initial stages of the engineering lifecycle, contributing to the definition and refinement of requirements and architecture. You will design new PCB-level electronics to complement COTS modules and collaborate with the broader project team to support integration and qualification.


To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of a BTEC, HND, or Apprenticeship in an Electronics-based Engineering course. You will have knowledge of all stages of the engineering development lifecycle and familiarity with circuit design (schematic capture) and simulation tools. Practical experience in hardware, firmware, and software integration of microprocessor-based designs is essential. You should also have experience integrating in-house designs with COTS modules, debugging, testing, and verifying new designs.
