For one of our clients in the watchmaking industry, we are looking for a Senior Inventory Analyst (m/w). The role is a permanent contract based in la Chaux-de-Fonds.
Your responsibilities:
- Overseeing all aspects of inventory management such as:
- Monitoring inventory levels;
- Analyzing data to forecast demand;
- Coordinating with supply chain and sales team;
- Implementing strategies to optimize inventory turnover and minimize costs.
- Optimize inventory levels and accuracy by developing and implementing inventory control procedures and strategies
- Improve inventory efficiency by analyzing inventory data and trends; identifying areas of improvement, such as minimizing out of collection or excess inventory
- Estimate future inventory requirements based on historical data, sales forecasts, and industry trends
- Management/review of purchase orders in accordance with well-defined specifications and production plan
- Manage regular cycle counts, audits, and reconciliations to ensure inventory accuracy
Your profile:
- Master’s degree / engineer degree in supply chain management
- 5 to 10 years' of experience in a similar role within the FMCG, Lifestyle and/or Luxury industry
- Experience of working in a regional or global headquarters and across international affiliates
- High social competence and drive to work on senior level with senior leaders
- Able to work very independently and with high motivation
- Resilience, determination, accuracy and reliability
- Intellectually sharp with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good level of communication skills in English and French
