For a company active in biofuels and renewable energy, we are looking for a Head of Desk - Biofuels to lead and grow the trading desk

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Strategy: Lead the biofuels trading desk, setting strategies to drive growth and profitability.
• Market Analysis: Track trends in biofuels, SAF, and feedstock markets to identify new trading opportunities.
• Trading & Risk Management: Oversee trading activities, managing P&L targets and implementing risk controls.
• Relationship Building: Build relationships with suppliers, customers, and regulators to enhance market positioning.
• Compliance & Sustainability: Ensure trading aligns with ESG goals and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Energy, or related field.
• 8+ years in commodities trading, with 3-5 years in biofuels; SAF knowledge is a plus.
• Strong leadership skills with proven team management experience.
• In-depth knowledge of biofuels markets, including regulations and sustainability trends.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
