Our client, a well-established non-profit organization based in Geneva, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Finance Manager to join their team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial sustainability.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, accounting, and financial reporting.
- Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with Swiss GAAP.
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reporting.
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Manage the annual budgeting process and provide strategic financial recommendations to senior management.
- Coordinate the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors.
- Provide financial analysis and reports to support decision-making and long-term planning.
- Supervise and mentor a small team of finance and accounting professionals.
Profile:
- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in a senior finance role, within a non-profit organization.
- Strong knowledge of Swiss GAAP and Swiss tax regulations.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a team. - Fluent in both English and French; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
