Key Responsibilities:
- Trade Finance Operations: Ensure seamless operations in trade finance, including the issuance, amendment, and negotiation of letters of credit, guarantees, and other trade finance instruments.
- Project Finance Management: Contribute to the meticulous management of a broad portfolio of project finance instruments, ensuring all financial details are accurately recorded and maintained.
- Debt Portfolio Servicing: Meet requirements in servicing the debt portfolio, including interest payments, loan repayments, reporting, and certificates.
- Credit Facilities Recording: Accurately record credit facilities and trade finance instruments into relevant systems.
- Liaison with Financial Institutions: Liaise with relevant financial institutions to ensure smooth operations and compliance with all financial covenants.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with covenants and participate in the cash repatriation process.
- Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate reporting of all relevant financial information.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3 years experience in trade finance and/or project finance.
- Strong understanding of commercial financial instruments and project finance details.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, international environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- English and French fluent
