Our client is a global multinational in the technology sector. This role is for their Swiss subsidiary, with head office in Zurich.
Job description
This is an individual contributor position which reports directly into the Head of Contract Management for Switzerland and has following core responsibilities:
- Support the sales organization in all aspects related with contract management, like for example profitability, commercial models, clauses, risks, competition.
- Design commercial solutions, reply to commercial bids and draft contracts.
- Take part of the sales decision-making team and act as a chief negotiator for sales contracts, assuming responsibilities for negotiation tactics.
- Identify risks and develop risk mitigation plans in the pre-sales phase. Monitor risks and possible disputes during fulfillment phase.
- Tracking, analysis, administration of conditions and obligations of contracts to ensure contract compliance. Identify and manage amendment opportunities during the contract fulfillment phase.
Candidate Profile:
- At least three years of relevant experience in a similar position in a multinational environment in a role based in Switzerland.
- Comprehensive understanding and deep knowledge of contracts (examples: payment, trade terms, taxation, business models, currency risk control, guarantees, penalties, liabilities, project planning, quotation principles, warranty conditions, international private law, Swiss commercial regulations)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to communicate with all levels of internal and external parties.
- Ability to work under pressure, fast learner, high energy, not afraid to take responsibilities.
- Dynamic personality and ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
- Bachelor degree or higher in international trade, finance, law or similar academic background
- Fluent in German/Swiss German and English
- Good command of PC skills
