Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Channel Sales Manager to lead and grow the sales efforts through channel partnerships in the ICT sector. Based in Switzerland, the successful candidate will bring a minimum of 5 years of experience in channel sales, with a background working for vendors or distributors. Fluency in Swiss German and English is essential, with French as a strong plus. This role involves managing and expanding relationships with resellers, distributors, and system integrators to achieve the company’s sales and market expansion goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute channel sales strategies to drive revenue growth and meet sales targets within Switzerland and surrounding regions.
- Identify, onboard, and develop new channel partners, including resellers, distributors, and integrators, ensuring alignment with the company’s business objectives.
- Manage and nurture existing channel relationships, acting as the main point of contact and driving mutual success through effective collaboration.
- Create and implement marketing and sales initiatives in collaboration with the marketing team to enhance partner engagement and increase market penetration.
- Regularly monitor and report on channel performance, delivering accurate sales forecasts, KPI tracking, and insights on market trends.
- Conduct partner business reviews to evaluate performance, address concerns, and explore opportunities for growth.
- Deliver product training and support to partners, ensuring they are well-equipped with the necessary knowledge to promote and sell solutions effectively.
- Negotiate partner agreements, ensuring favorable terms for both parties and alignment with the company’s goals and financial targets.
- Resolve channel conflicts by addressing competitive situations and working cross-functionally to provide win-win solutions.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and new technologies, bringing strategic insights back to the leadership team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in channel sales or partner management, preferably within the ICT industry, working with vendors or distributors.
- Demonstrated track record of driving revenue growth through channel partnerships.
- Strong understanding of the Swiss ICT market, with knowledge of local players, trends, and competitive landscape.
- Native-level proficiency in Swiss German and fluency in English are mandatory; French is a strong plus.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to build lasting relationships with partners.
- Proficient in using CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
- Willingness to travel within Switzerland and occasionally abroad to meet with partners and attend events.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with multinational vendors, distributors, or large resellers.
- Familiarity with technologies such as cloud computing, cybersecurity, networking, or telecommunications.
