We are recruiting a skilled Field Service Engineer (m/w/d) specializing in Power Electronics and Energy Storage Systems to join dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, maintenance, and troubleshooting services for the advanced power electronics and energy storage products. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, hands-on experience with power electronics, a proactive approach to customer service, and good language skills in both English and German.

Your responsibilities:

Installation and Commissioning:

• Oversee the installation and commissioning of power electronics and energy storage systems at client sites.
• Ensure systems are installed according to specifications and operational requirements.

Technical Support:

• Provide on-site and remote technical support to clients, addressing issues related to system performance, functionality, and integration.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems promptly to minimize downtime and ensure customer satisfaction.

Maintenance and Repair:

• Conduct routine maintenance and repair services on power electronics and energy storage systems.
• Perform diagnostic tests and fault finding to identify and rectify issues.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company standards and regulatory requirements.

Customer Training:

• Train customers on the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of power electronics and energy storage systems.
• Develop and deliver training materials and sessions tailored to client needs.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate records of service activities, including maintenance logs, service reports, and customer communications.
• Provide detailed feedback to the engineering and product development teams to support continuous improvement.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with the sales, engineering, and product development teams to provide feedback on product performance and customer needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues.

Your profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a service engineering role, preferably in power electronics or energy storage systems.
• Hands-on experience with installation, commissioning, and maintenance of power electronics equipment and energy storage systems.
• Strong technical knowledge of power electronics, inverters, converters, and energy storage technologies.
• Proficient in troubleshooting and diagnostic techniques.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software.
• Good command of both English and German languages
