Your responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive health and safety strategies and programs that align with the company’s goals and regulatory requirements.
- Risk Management: Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, standards, and guidelines.
- Incident Management: Lead investigations into workplace incidents, accidents, and near misses, providing detailed reports and recommendations for corrective actions.
- Safety Audits: Perform regular safety audits and inspections of facilities, equipment, and processes to ensure adherence to safety standards.
- Emergency Preparedness: Develop and maintain emergency response plans and procedures, conducting regular drills and evaluations.
- Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement by analyzing safety performance metrics and implementing initiatives to enhance safety practices.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with management, employees, and external stakeholders to promote and improve health and safety standards.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records and documentation related to health and safety activities, training, incidents, and compliance.
Your profile:
- Experience: Around 7 years of experience in health and safety management within the industrial machinery sector or a related industry.
- Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Certification: Relevant certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA, ISO 45001) are highly desirable.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct detailed risk assessments and develop effective mitigation strategies.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Training: Experience in developing and delivering health and safety training programs.
- Fluent German and English
