Our client is global multinational in the transportation industry.

Job description:

• Co-operation with the global supplier quality network for the development of suppliers and the possible selection of new suppliers.
• First Article Inspection (FAI) at the supplier's site. Verification of the first article approval (according to PPAP, Production Part Approval Process) together with the incoming goods inspection and with the support of the technical and purchasing department. Preparation of the necessary reports after the FAI.
• Work together with the supplier on remediation initiatives in the events of deviations.
• Managing non-conformities, ensuring the correct approach to problem solving by the supplier and response times and reporting progress internally.
• Management and maintenance of the supplier panel (audit results, certification levels, improvement plans, top worst supplier meetings, non-conformity reviews in cooperation with the purchasing team.

Candidate Profile:

• Degree in Engineering or Science or equivalent educational background
• Several years of experience in the field of supplier quality in an industrial environment
• Familiar with problem solving techniques (8D, FMEA, Ishikawa diagrams, etc.)
• Good understanding of technical drawings
• Knowledge of measurement methods and instrumentation, including non-destructive testing, would be a plus
• Available for travelling to suppliers (in Switzerland and neighbour countries)
• Fluent German is a must. A good level of English is a must.
