We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Compliance Officer to join our client's Legal & Compliance team. In this role, you will provide proactive support in compliance matters, ensuring the adherence to legal and regulatory guidelines. You will also advise management and internal stakeholders on relevant issues, safeguarding the company's reputation.


Responsibilities


• Assist with regulatory and compliance matters in asset and wealth management


• Handle day-to-day compliance tasks, including KYC, AML, and client onboarding


• Modify, draft, and implement internal policies


• Monitor regulatory developments and evaluate business implications


• Support legal and compliance projects, including new products and cross-border markets


• Develop and conduct compliance trainings for employees


• Review products and services from a compliance perspective


• Support legal function on commercial and financial matters


• Assist with M&A activities and investment fund structuring


• Manage legal and regulatory life cycle of funds


Requirements


• Entrepreneurial mindset with a can-do attitude


• Flexible, reliable, pragmatic and detail-oriented


• Excellent command of written and spoken English and German; knowledge of Italian or Russian is a nice to have


• Structured and dedicated way of working, both independently and as a team player



Qualifications


• University degree in law or equivalent


• 2-3 years of compliance experience in the financial industry or banking sector


• Experience with international UHNWI clientele is preferred


• Knowledge of Swiss and EU regulations and financial markets laws
