About the Company:


Our client is a global leader in the technology sector, known for delivering cutting-edge solutions across various industries. The candidate can be based anywhere in the German speaking part of Switzerland and needs to travel to Bern twice a week.


Job Overview:


  • As a Key Account Manager, you will oversee one of the largest and most strategic client relationships in Switzerland, reporting directly to the Client Account Director.
  • Your focus will be on handling large accounts in Switzerland, with a specific emphasis on selling complex ICT infrastructure solutions, including hardware, software, and server and storage technologies.
  • You’ll be part of a team responsible for managing the IT Infrastructure product portfolio, which includes hardware, software, and solutions in server and storage technologies.
  • Close collaboration with technical pre-sales and project delivery teams is essential for ensuring successful client outcomes.
  • You will interact with key decision-makers in IT infrastructure at the client site, typically at the expert, manager, and director levels. About a third of your time will be spent on-site at the client’s premises.

Candidate Profile:


  • We are seeking a mid-senior professional with at least 5 years of experience in a similar Key Account Manager role, ideally within the technology industry.
  • Fluency in German/Swiss-German and proficiency in English are required.
  • Solid experience in B2B sales is required, with a focus on cultivating and maintaining long-term client relationships.
  • A technical background in a related field (IT, Telecom, Electrical Engineering) and a strong understanding of IT infrastructure solutions are essential.
  • Previous experience working with Telecom clients is a significant asset.
  • The ideal candidate will be reliable, organized, an excellent communicator, and adept at managing internal stakeholders in a matrix organization.
