$65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per Year


LHH is seeking a Political Compliance Specialist for our client in San Francisco. This position specializes in political and election law working in a collaborative team environment.


Required Skills and Job Duties


· Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet hard deadlines.


· Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with attorneys, colleagues, clients and vendors.


· Demonstrate a high level of awareness of confidential information.


· Thorough research skills.


· Interest in and understanding of local politics and government.


· Proficient MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook), and iManage software preferred.


· Experience managing Netfile and NetLobbyist databases preferred.


· Approve and report political contributions pursuant to Fair Political Practices Commission (FPPC) regulations.


· Draft contribution acknowledgement letters and resolutions for political contributions.


· Conduct due diligence checks for clients and file necessary amendments.


· Maintain client lobbying activity log and file in various jurisdictions.


· Prepare and file Statement of Economic Interest, Form 700, in various jurisdictions.


· Monitor and update client memorandums regarding election and FPPC laws.

Education and Experience



  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.


  • 1-2 years experience in campaign finance, bookkeeping, or nonprofit fundraising preferred, but not required.


Compensation

Salary based on experience, $65,000 to $80,000. Excellent benefits including medical, dental, 401(k) and profit sharing. Position available immediately.
