Job Description: We are looking for a talented Mechanical Engineer to contribute to the design, development, and optimization of our manufacturing processes and products. This position is open to recent college graduates with a degree in Mechanical Engineering or individuals with 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop new products, components, and systems that meet quality, performance, and cost targets.
Utilize CAD software to create detailed drawings, models, and prototypes for product development and validation.
Conduct engineering analyses, simulations, and tests to evaluate product performance, identify design flaws, and propose solutions.
Assist in the selection of materials, components, and manufacturing processes to optimize product design and production efficiency.
Support manufacturing operations by troubleshooting issues, implementing process improvements, and ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulations.
Participate in design reviews, project meetings, and brainstorming sessions to generate innovative ideas and solutions.
Stay current with industry trends, advancements in technology, and best practices in mechanical engineering.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field for recent college graduates; additional experience preferred for candidates with 2-3 years of industry experience.
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for 3D modeling and drafting.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to apply engineering principles to practical applications.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Hands-on experience with manufacturing processes such as machining, welding, casting, or injection molding is desirable.
Familiarity with product lifecycle management (PLM) software and project management concepts is a plus.
Eagerness to learn, adapt, and take on new challenges in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Salary range: $70k-$85k
