LHH Recruitment is partnering with a law firm in Phoenix, AZ that is looking for a legal receptionist to join the team. This is a full-time, in-office, Monday through Friday position. Pay range $18 -$24 per hour depending on years of legal industry experience. Must have legal industry experience to qualify.


As a Legal Receptionist, you will serve as the first point of contact for clients and visitors to our legal office. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting guests, answering and directing phone calls, managing correspondence, and providing administrative support to legal staff. Your professionalism, communication skills, and attention to detail will contribute to the smooth operation of our legal practice.


Responsibilities:

  1. Greet clients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
  2. Answer and direct incoming phone calls to appropriate personnel.
  3. Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including mail, email, and faxes.
  4. Schedule appointments, meetings, and conference rooms for attorneys and clients.
  5. Maintain and update office calendars and scheduling systems.
  6. Assist with document preparation, formatting, editing, and proofreading.
  7. Organize and maintain electronic and physical filing systems.
  8. Monitor and maintain office supplies inventory, ordering supplies as needed.
  9. Assist with basic administrative tasks, such as photocopying, scanning, and filing.
  10. Coordinate with other administrative staff to ensure efficient office operations.
  11. Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  12. Provide general administrative support to legal staff, including attorneys and paralegals.

Qualifications:

  1. High School Diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in office administration or related field is a plus.
  2. Previous experience as a receptionist, in the legal industry is required.
  3. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional demeanor.
  4. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with clients, visitors, and staff.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other office software.
  6. Familiarity with legal terminology, procedures, and document formats is desirable
